2 crashes on same stretch of M20

TWO accidents on the same stretch of motorway within less than an hour caused delays to rush hour motorists today.

In the first incident happened at about 3.45pm when an MPV people carrier was in collision with a car on the coastbound carriageway of the M20 between junctions 4 and 5, near Larkfield.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene following reports that one of the cars was on fire, but that fear proved to be unfounded. No-one was hurt in the incident.

A second collision, between a car and a lorry, was reported at 4.26pm. Police warned drivers to take extra care so as to avoid any more incidents near the crash sites.
