2 face sentence over Customs charges

A MAN and woman are facing sentence after admitting conspiracy to evade Customs duty.

Angelica O’Hanlon, 37, and Thomas Tanton, 51, will be sentenced after the trial of co-accused Royston Jones, 45, due to start on January 24.

O’Hanlon, of Watts Avenue, Rochester, and Tanton, of Mark Brunel Way, Historic Dockyard, Chatham, pleaded guilty to committing the offence between April 30 and July 31 2002.

Jones, of Watts Avenue, Rochester, failed to appear for today's hearing and Judge Jeremy Carey issued a warrant for his arrest.
