A21 crash near Tunbridge Wells leaves six hurt

Six people were injured after a crash on the A21 near Tunbridge Wells.

Police were called at 2.30pm yesterday to the North Farm roundabout.

The incident involved a red Ford Focus and a silver Mercedes.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "The victims were taken to the Kent and Sussex hospital with injuries not thought to be life threatening.

"The road was closed for a time to allow emergency services to deal with the incident and for the cars to be recovered.

"The road re-opened at 4.45pm."
