Advice hotline included in AA's insurance package

AA Business Services has relaunched an insurance package for motorists that also includes access to legal and technical advice hotlines. Providing insurance against mechanical and electrical breakdown, the Motorsure package now offers drivers specialist advice on a variety of motoring and consumer-related issues.

As well as guidance on motoring law, policyholders can obtain information about accidents, injuries, neighbour disputes, wills and even matrimonial law.

In addition, policyholders can seek advice on a range of technical motoring-related issues, from purchase, disposal, ownership, repair and maintenance of vehicles, to vehicle valuations, car security, MoTs and guidance on fuel.

The technical advice lines are open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5.15pm, with the legal advice lines open between 8am and l0pm, Monday to Friday and 9am and 5pm on Saturday. Both are accessed via separate phone numbers.

Adrian Waters, general manager, business sales, AA Business Services, said: "The new additions to the Motorsure package are great news, giving customers the added peace of mind that, should they find themselves in need of professional advice, it will no longer be prohibitively expensive."

AA Motorsure is suitable for cars that are no longer under manufacturer warranty and insures against mechanical and electrical breakdown.

Available through selected dealerships, carbuyers can select elements from a variety of different levels of cover. Valid claims will also allow up to £50 in recovery charges , up to £35 a day for seven days car hire if the customer's car is in for repair and up to £100 for overnight accommodation should the car-owner be stranded away from home.
