Leaders Kent pick from a squad of 12 for the LV County Championship Division 2 game against bottom side Middlesex at Uxbridge.

Azhar Mahmood returns in place of Phil Edwards who is rested, and they will make a late decision on whether to play both spinners, James Tredwell and Rob Ferley.

The county are still waiting to receive a visa, allowing their mystery overseas bowler into the country.

Alex Blake is retained, but injured trio Ryan McLaren, Robbie Joseph and Martin Saggers are all ruled out by injury.

Joseph (pictured) misses the rest of the season with a shoulder injury, and faces an operation later this month.

Shaun Udal returns to lead Middlesex after being knocked unconscious batting against Northamptonshire last week, as they bid to repeat their victory at Canterbury last month, only their second championship success this season.
