Brutal baseball attack: Three men held

THREE men have been arrested in connection with an attack which left a Strood man fighting for his life. As 40-year-old Tony Miln remained critically ill in a specialist head injuries unit the men were taken into custody.

Two were being questioned at Chatham Police Station and the other at Gravesend. All three are in their 20s.

Mr Miln, found lying in a pool of blood in the street near flats in Newark Court in Gun Lane on Saturday night, suffered serious multiple head injuries. He is in intensive care in a neurological unit at a hospital in Haywards Heath, west Sussex.
