Car discovered burnt out on Heath

Firefighters were called to Dartford Heath this morning after a dog walker discovered a burning car.

One crew from Dartford fire station responded to a call at 7.19am and put out the smoking vehicle, which had been abandoned. They left around 8am.

Watch manager Ian Hampson confirmed they would be working with police and the council following a spate of similar incidents on the heath.
