Motorists clocked doing 102mph in wet conditions on M20 in Kent

A motorist who drove past police in wet conditions on a motorway at speeds of 102mph - has been issued with a ticket.

Officers from the roads policing unit were travelling along the M20 in Kent this evening when the driver overtook them at high speeds.

The motorist sped past a police sergeant and also deviated from lane three at high speeds in front of the officer.

The Kent Police roads unit team tweeted about the incident and warned other motorists that speed kills.

The tweet added: "Average speed calculated at 102 and TOR (Ticket) issued. #SpeedKills"
