A FAMILY left homeless when their house went up in flames are reeling from terrible news again, after finding their beloved pet dog had gone missing.

The Costers had to evacuate their four-bedroom home, in Jeskyns Road, Cobham, when a fire ripped through it in September last year.

Six months on, the family of five has finally moved back into its rebuilt home.

But no sooner had they stepped through their front door than they discovered they were one short.

Three-year-old cocker spaniel Millie has been missing since February 13, the day the rest of her family finally got back on its feet.

Father-of-three, Nicholas Coster, 45, says the family is heartbroken and desperate to find the dog, which luckily escaped last year’s fire.

They have already had dozens of posters printed and plan to cover the surrounding area with them in the hope someone will recognise her.

Mr Coster said: “Everybody was looking forward to so many things and then disaster strikes and we lose Millie. It’s so disappointing.”

If you have seen Millie or know where she may have gone call the family on 07889 903778.
