Four men in court after dozens of high-value cars stolen

Four men are due to appear in court today charged with conspiracy to commit burglaries and conspiracy to steal motor vehicles.

It comes after the theft of dozens of high-value cars at homes across Medway.

As many as 25 cars - including BMWs, Mercedes and Audis - and a motorbike were reported to have been stolen after break-ins.

The alleged offences happened between September 2011 and January 2012.

The men are: Danny Stevenson, 26, of no fixed address; Charlie Bushell, 20, of Kingston Crescent, Chatham; James Clark, 20, of Chalk Road, Queenborough, Swale; and Adam Green, 24, previously of Hardstown, Chatham.

They will all appear at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning.

They were arrested in early morning raids yesterday by the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
