Cody McDonald celebrates his winner on Saturday Picture: Barry Goodwin

Andy Hessenthaler is hoping Cody McDonald’s winner on Saturday is the first of many goals for the on-loan Gillingham striker.
McDonald had failed to find the net in his previous four games but scored against Burton to put Gillingham back on the tails of League 2’s early pacesetters.
He scored the only goal of the game as Gillingham recorded their second win of the season.
"I’m delighted for him," said Gills boss Hessenthaler, who brought McDonald to the club from Norwich following the loss of Simeon Jackson to the East Anglian club.
"He has had a stop-start time since he’s been here because of injuries but he’s looking fitter now.
"I’m pleased for him because that might kick-start his season and like many forwards when they get one they tend to have a run. Hopefully that’s the case for us."
