Gillingham are set to travel to Bromley as the League 2 club continue to shape their pre-season schedule.

The Gills have been regular visitors to Hayes Lane in recent seasons and are due to return on Saturday, August 11 - a week before the start of the season.

Former boss Andy Hessenthaler took the Gills to Bromley last summer and went ahead through former Lillywhite youth player Luke Rooney.

But the hosts struck twice to win the game with goals from former Priestfield player Rory Hill.

Gillingham also lost at Hayes Lane 2-1 in the previous summer.

In 2009 the game at Bromley will be remembered for an injury to Simon King, which left him sidelined for almost two whole seasons.

The Gills - still without a manager - have already scheduled a number of games against Kent teams, with matches against Dartford (July 21), Ebbsfleet (July 28) and Dover (July 31) already confirmed.

Games have also been arranged against Charlton and Watford from the Championship, along with a meeting with the Royal Engineers at Priestfield on July 25.
