Hundreds of Kent's Gurkhas are still waiting to find out whether they can settle in the UK.

Although the High Court told the government to change its policy last September - and allow those who retired before 1997 to stay here - it still hasn't done so.

And on Wednesday the government went to a different court and got an extra three months to finalise the paperwork.

But it means Gurkhas whose visas have run out will stay homeless for the time being.
