The weekly podcast, which launched last week, brings together local democracy reporters, Simon Finlay, Robert Boddy, Dan Esson and KM Media Group political editor Paul Francis.

Simon, who covers Kent County Council, will lead the discussions with contributions from Robert, who reports on Medway Council, and Dan, whose speciality is borough and district councils.

Paul will be bringing his weekly Westminster Watch review – highlighting what’s happening in parliament and how it affects the county.

Cllr Martin speaks about the environmental threats facing the county – especially the polluting of waterways with sewage.

Next week, we hope to welcome Sittingbourne and Sheppey MP Gordon Henderson.
