Kent teacher named South East's best head

A MEDWAY head teacher has been named best in the South East in an awards scheme.

Stuart Kay, head at All Saints' school in Chatham has been named the National College for School Leadership primary school head teacher of the year in the region.

He was nominated by pupils, parents and colleagues.

Mr Kay was delighted but remained modest about his achievements. He said: "It is recognition for the whole school community for years of working together.

"I feel very privileged and proud."
