kmfm shortlisted for Arqiva awards for station of the year and feature of the year

kmfm radio station has been shortlisted for two prestigious industry awards.

It has reached the finals in the category for stations with catchment areas of between 500,000 and two million listeners.

kmfm is ranked alongside Metro Radio, Hallam FM, Forth one and Clyde 1, it was revealed by industry experts Arqiva today.

The station, which has more than 177,000 listeners, has also been shortlisted in the feature of the year category.

The Saving Someone's Christmas campaign produced some powerful content, and is up against stations such as LBC and Absolute.

The winners are due to be announced on July 8.
