Lambs savaged by killer dogs

KILLER dogs have savaged lambs in a frenzied attack that left eight dead and a further five needing to be put down.

Farmer Keith Studd, of Capel Hill Farm, Eastchurch, near Sheerness, is now warning that the dogs could kill a child next if they are not traced.

The lambs were grazing at nearby Connet’s Farm when the slaughter happened. Mr Studd said: "The dogs would have returned home covered in blood and hyped-up. Their owner has to know what they have done."

Mr Studd believes the dogs came from an area stretching from Warden Bay round to the eastern end of Minster.

Police are investigating the case and anyone with any information is asked to contact Sittingbourne Police Station on 01795 477055 or CrimeStoppers 0800 555111.
