Man arrested in murder investigation of Diane Dyer in Oakwood Avenue Bromley

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Diane Dyer was found unresponsive and suffering from head injuries in Bromley on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to Oakwood Avenue in Beckenham at 11pm and the 61-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.

The discovery sparked a murder investigation.

A post-mortem revealed her cause of death as blunt force trauma to the head and face.

A 54-year-old man was arrested in the early hours of this morning.

He remains in custody at a north London police station.
