Man charged with 21 offences of criminal damage

A 27-year-old Chatham man has been charged after a string of cars were damaged around Medway.

Andrew Simpson, of Fort Pitt Street, was arrested in connection with the spate of damage to cars between May 29 and 30 this year. It's said to have caused thousands of pounds of damage.

The offences took place on Bromley Close, Emily Road, Lords Wood Lane, Croydon Close, Anson Close and Kingfisher Drive in Chatham as well as Vicarage Road, Gillingham.

Simpson has been charge with 21 criminal damage offences and released on bail and is due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on October 13.
