A man had to be cut out of a car after a crash on Hythe Road near junction 10 of the M20.

The crash, which involved two cars, happened at about 6.30pm Tuesday.

Firefighters had to remove the door from one car, which had been travelling towards Ashford from junction 10, in order to get one person out.

Both drivers, of a BMW 325i and Renault Clio, were taken to the William Harvey Hospital in the town. The BMW driver's feet were trapped, and the Clio driver suffered a back injury.
