Rail services were interrupted in Kent on Saturday when a man fell under a train.

The incident occurred at Barming station near Maidstone at around 12.41pm.

A spokeswoman for the British Transport Police said the man had been standing on the London-bound platform when he fell.

Police are treating it as a non-suspicious death.
