A man's been flown to hospital with serious injuries after a car crashed into a tree in the early hours.

Police were called out just before 3am today to reports a car had hit the tree on the A20 Ashford Road near Sellindge.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.

One lane was reopened at around 5.47am and there are likely to be delays while highways teams finish repairs.
