Police have arrested a woman on suspicion of killing a man in a parked motor home, it was revealed today.

The 43-year-old victim's body was found in the vehicle in Canterbury's New Dover Road park-and-ride.

Officers were initially called at 12.50am on June 28 after receiving a report that he had died suddenly.

But after the results of a preliminary post mortem came through and new evidence came to light, officers are treating the death as suspicious.

A woman aged in her 40s is being quizzed on suspicion of manslaughter.

Detective Inspector Matt Banks, who is leading the investigation, said: "Officers are keen to trace and speak with anyone that may have used the park and ride facilities along New Dover Road in the late evening of Monday, June 27.

"In particular people that had parked their motorhomes in the designated bay at this location may have witnessed events or have vital information that could help us with our enquiries."
