A man's arm was speared by a metal railing when he slipped and fell while trying to climb a school fence.
Medway firefighters were called to Sturdee Avenue, Gillingham, at 6.30am Saturday where they found the man attached to the boundary fence of Barnsole Infant School.
A hydraulic cutter and an electric saw were used to remove part of the railing so the man could be freed.
He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with the railing still attached.
Police are investigating the incident.
