Man trapped in bathroom cries for help

A MAN had an embarrassing encounter with firefighters when he got stuck in his bathroom.

The man, in his 30s, had to shout for help through his window when he realised the lock had broken on the door.

A passer-by raised the alarm after hearing his cries from the bathroom of the ground floor flat, in Clarendon Road, Gravesend.

The managed to pass out his keys to firefighters so they could enter the property and break open the lock at about 7.10pm on Thursday.

A firefighter at Thames-side station said: "It must have been embarrassing for him, but there's not a lot you can do in a situation like that other than call for help."
