Men arrested in connection with assault at Rochester pub

Two men have been arrested in connection with an assault in a Rochester pub toilet.

The 35 and 36-year-old men, both from the town, have been released on bail until April 23.

A 35-year-old man, also from Rochester, was in the George Vaults toilets when he was approached by two men and assaulted.

He suffered injuries to his face and eye.

The incident happened on January 30 between 10.30pm and 11pm.

Witnesses are being asked to come forward as part of the investigation.
