Kent's Police and Crime Commissioner Matthew Scott welcomes Government plans to ban the use of police cells to detain people experiencing mental illness

Plans have been announced to ban the use of police cells as a place to detain people who're experiencing a mental health crisis.

The Prime Minister's unveiled a series of measure to improve the nation's approach to the issue.
