Whitstable Town made it five straight wins in Ryman League Division 1 South with a dramatic 3-2 success at Corinthian Casuals.

The hosts took the lead through Glenn Boosey on 32 minutes but Stuart Vahid (pictured) headed the equaliser shortly after the hour mark.

Casuals looked to have won it on 86 minutes when Jamel Carr converted from close range however Vahid headed in a Dane Luchford cross in the final minute to make it 2-2.

Then with the game four minutes into stoppage-time a Jake Beecroft free-kick found the head of Laurence Harvey who looped a header home to snatch the points and take the Oystermen up to 15th in the table.

Faversham Town edged past Ramsgate 3-2 to dent the Rams chances of snatching a play-off place.

Rams' former Faversham striker Ian Pulman had a goal ruled out for offside in a goalless opening half but Justin Ascheri put the hosts ahead after 66 minutes.

Joe Taylor levelled for Ramsgate almost immediately but Nicky Humphrey restored the Lilywhites advantage 12 minutes from time and Adrian Stone grabbed the third on 85 minutes following a goalmouth scramble.

Aaron Quain fired in a free-kick against his former club to set up a grandstand finish, but the Rams couldn't find an equaliser in stoppage-time and are now seven points outside the play-offs but having played a game more than fifth-placed Folkestone.

Hythe Town's play-off chances were dealt a huge blow by a goalless draw at rock-bottom Whyteleafe.

Scott Porter's side are four games without a win after a dull stalemate in Surrey, the closest they came was Brendon Cass rounding keeper Paul Smith and squaring to Kane Rice, only for his shot to be blocked.

Town are 10 points behind the play-off places in 10th and have just one game in hand remaining.
