Motorcyclist killed


A motorcyclist has been killed in Swanley.

Police were called just before 00.50am on Wednesday 20 May to a road traffic incident in Wested Lane, Swanley.

According to officers, a man riding a blue Honda motorcycle had come off his bike. The rider, in his 40s and from the Dartford area, was taken to hospital but later died.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the incident.

A police investigation has begun and officers Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit would like to hear from anyone with any information or who may have witnessed the motorcycle being ridden in the area. Officers can be contacted on 01622 798538.
