Mum's shock at brick attack

A woman and her little girl woke up to discover bricks had been thrown through their windows while they slept.

Julie Robinson believes it is a case of mistaken identity as there is no reason why she and her four-year-old daughter Chloe should be targeted.

Her two kitchen windows were smashed by a pair of bricks overnight at her home in Douglas Close, New Romney.

Chloe found the mess and was lucky not to cut herself as she walked over the shards on the floor.

Julie - who moved to the area to get away from her old neighbourhood in south London, which was becoming too violent - said: “I’ve been in this house since January and I have never had any trouble.

“I’ve been in the area six years and I’ve always got on with anyone."
