Murder charge man to be tried later this year

A man accused of committing a murder in Medway will not stand trial until late in the year.
Deke Partridge was told a provisional date at Maidstone Crown Court had been set for September 2.
The 26-year-old, of Maidstone Road, Chatham, was due to enter a plea on Friday but the hearing was adjourned until June 12.
Partridge is alleged to have stabbed Timothy Hutcheon, 34, in Dale Street, Chatham, where he lived, on February 4.
He was remanded in custody.
