"Despite Hereford having a good away record, I would hope we can continue our good home form with the added boost of Sunday’s brilliant late comeback. I think it will be 2-0 to the Gills with McDonald and Barcham scoring."

Prediction: Gills 2 Hereford 0

Richard Pepper

(Manston)

"I was delighted to be wrong on Sunday and for us to come away with three points, although we will need to perform better. We appear to struggle in the first half and come out fighting in the second. Hopefully this has been discussed in training.

"With Cody’s confidence and understanding with Bayo we are a threat to any team up front. If we come out the way we finished at Cheltenham we should win comfortably, although I will settle for a scrappy 1-0."

Prediction: Gills 3 Hereford 0

James Staples

(Greenwich)

"Sunday’s win was scrappy and slightly fortuitous. It’s a theme we might have to get used to as we play teams, starting with Hereford, scrapping at the bottom of the table.

"Although we put Cheltenham under pressure in the last 20 minutes the end result didn’t represent the overall balance of play and this should act as a wake-up call.

"It will be very interesting to see if we remain unchanged. It wasn’t until Spiller and Rooney entered the fray that we looked like causing problems.

"Rooney has shown promise and I’d like to see him given one more opportunity to start, while Spiller (pictured) gives energy in the middle. Payne has been consistent, Maher carries out a crucial role and Weston is capable of winning a game when on form. Hess has some decisions!

"Hereford have a dangerous striker in Fleetwood which, combined with an impressive away record of eight wins, could provide a considerable threat."

Prediction: Gills 2 Hereford 1

Sam Livingstone

(Pangbourne)

"Confidence should be high and hopefully it will be another three points. Hereford may have a very good away record but I think that we will have too much for them, especially up front.

"We continue to look shaky at full-back and even with Martin coming in we struggled on Sunday and it will be a matter that we have to address in the summer. Another weakness we have is from set-pieces and, with Kovacs playing, we will have to be wary from corners and free-kicks.

"I think that we are long overdue a comprehensive victory. Our goal difference is relatively poor, compared to other teams around us."

Prediction: Gills 4 Hereford 1

Julian Hart

(Canterbury)

"Hereford at the weekend is a must win. I know this is being said each week but it's more important now we are only two points off the automatic promotion places and nearly everyone else has played their games in hand.

"Hereford are low down and have had a mix bag of form. Hopefully Spiller will start on Saturday, seeing as he and along with Rooney made a load of difference last weekend.

"Cody to score twice and Weston also in a 3-0 win."

Prediction: Gills 3 Hereford 0

Andy Smith

(Hereford fan)

"I live in Sevenoaks so I was pleased when the Gills were relegated as it meant a Hereford game in the area!

"I am quite confident of getting something this Saturday. We’ve got some interesting loans in, although at Southend we were, frankly, awful.

"A lively following from Hereford will probably drink too much cider on the way down and spend the entire match trying to wind up Ian Hendon."

Prediction: Gills 0 Hereford 1
