Police appeal for information after serious collision on A299 Thanet Way

Police are appealing for information after a serious crash which saw two people flown to London hospitals yesterday.

The incident happened at 2pm on the London-bound carriageway of the A299 Thanet Way close to the turn off for St Nicholas-at-Wade.

Six people in total were injured, with various victims cut free in the crash involving a Volvo tipper, Daihatsu YRV and a Citroen Xsara Picasso.

Two females who were in the Daihatsu suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to a London hospital.
