Police appeal for information after Canterbury nightclub assault

A man was left with a black eye and bruising to his jaw after he was punched in the head at a Canterbury nightclub.

The 18-year-old was assaulted by another man at around 1.30am on the morning of Sunday, November 15, but information of the incident has only just been released by police.

The attacker was part of a large group of people who were at Studio 41 in St George's Place that evening.

The man who punched the 18-year-old is described as white, aged in his late 20s, of average build and around 6ft tall. He had short dark hair and was not clean shaven but had stubble. He was wearing a dark coloured suit with an open collared white shirt underneath.

Another man in the group is described as being approximately 26 to 27 years-of-age, having light brown curly hair and a beard.
