Shocked parents saw a car crash in the school run today just yards from a Gravesend primary.

Emergency crews were called to Raynehurst Primary School this morning after the out-of-control motor mounted a kerb.

It happened in nearby Cerne Road at 8.45am - just before children entered classes.

Two crews from Thamesside fire station attended the scene as well as police and ambulance.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said pedestrians were left shaken by the incident but no injuries had been sustained.
