Post office robber threatened staff with scissors

THE public's help is being sought to trace a man who robbed a post office after threatening staff with a pair of scissors.

The incident took place at The Post Office in Gladstone Road, Willesborough, near Ashford, shortly after 11am on Friday.

No-one was injured, but the offender stole a quantity of cash, although the exact amount is not yet known.

After stealing the money the man fled the scene and turned right onto Newtown Road.

He is described as white, around 20-years-old and of slim build. He was wearing a black parka coat trimmed with fur and dark-coloured trousers. He may also have been wearing a black beanie hat.
