Pupils' verdict on new school dinners

PUPILS have had their first taste of fresh, wholesome school dinners across the nation today.

But what do school children in the Bexley area think of the new healthy dishes?

Primary schools across the borough are holding taster sessions for pupils and parents to try out a range of nutritious meals which meet new government requirements.

Food company Harrison Catering will provide the service in 55 Bexley schools starting this week.

Find out whether children are pleased with their fruit and vegetables, or if they are craving crisps in next week's Bexley Extra.
