Raid gang threaten shop staff with knife

Staff were threatened with a knife when three men stole cash from a store in a Kent town.

The robbers left with a quantity of cash after the raid at the Co-operative in Mill Road, Deal at around 6.30am Tuesday.

A spokesman for the store said: "Staff members involved are shaken but unhurt.

"The police are carrying out a forensic examination and have also been given CCTV footage of the incident."
