Rail passengers suffered delays after two platforms at Dartford railway station closed this morning following a power cut.

Electrical problems at a nearby substation were reported by overnight engineers.

Passengers heading to Victoria faced delays across the county as some services were cancelled.

A spokesman for Southeastern said the platforms had now re-opened but a backlog of cancelled trains meant delays would continue throughout the morning.
