Reflecting changing face of agriculture

THE Kent Show has undertaken some extensive changes to reflect the ever-changing agricultural industry and the requirements of a family day out.

Food will be promoted in the Kent Pavilion to show the very best food produced and grown in Kent, England, France and America. There will be cookery demonstrations in the Pavilion on all three days of the show.

The Forestry and Countryside area has increased to reflect new and traditional crafts and, for the first time ever, will feature wolves brought to the showground by the UK Wolf Conservation Trust.

Children will be able to experience an interactive demonstration related to the world of agriculture, as well as having the chance to milk a lifesize model cow.

The splendid sight of the grand livestock parade on all three days of the show is always a spectacle not to be missed in the main Astor Ring.

Sheep, cattle, goats, pigs and llamas will be on show and judged for the duration of the show, reflecting the very best of livestock in the south east.

There will be music and fun entertainment for all the family from 4pm until 8pm on Friday and Saturday in our Falmouth Ring, giving visitors the chance to extend their visit to Kent’s premier outdoor event.

The Kent Show in 2005 gives an ideal opportunity for an excellent family day out.
