Renault dealer gears up for busy spell

NORTHFLEET Renault dealer Priory Dartford is gearing up for its busiest March ever following the latest arrivals to the Renault range which boast high levels of style, comfort, innovation and safety.

This year will see the arrival of a series of Special Editions models and special offers.

Based on the Dynamique from the Clio Sport collection, Clio Extreme is designed for customers in the 18 to 25 age group looking for a sporty Clio that is easy on the wallet.

Available with 1.2 16V, and the new 65 bhp 1.5 dCi diesel engines, standard equipment includes ABS brakes with electronic brake distribution, alloy wheels, rear spoiler, sports front seats, driver and front passenger airbags and front lateral airbags. Special features include the Extreme interior trim, a single CD 4x22-watt HiFi and an exclusive additional body colour option, Cyclone Blue.

Launched last July, the Renault Megane Hatch Fidji Special Edition, again based on the sporty Dynamique version of the model, sold more than 3,000 in just five months. Now from the same stable comes the Megane Coupe Fidji Special Edition to head up the Renault Megane Collection for 2002.

With a starting price less than that of the Dynamique model on which it is based, the Megane Coupe Fidji also benefits from metallic paint and a 60-watt single CD/radio HiFi, offering an overall customer saving of almost £1,000.

A complete line-up of petrol engines include the latest 95bhp 1.4 16V, 110bhp 1.6 16V and 140bhp 2.0 16V units, providing excellent fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions. In addition, Renault’s Proactive automatic transmission is available with the 1.6 16V unit.

Standard specification consists of all core comfort, driving, safety and security features of the Megane range, and options are available on electric tilt and slide sunroof, tyre pressure monitors and a multi-CD RDS Radio Cassette.

Dealer principal at Priory Dartford, Peter Farrugia, said: “The current Renault range is the strongest it has ever been and we are expecting one of our busiest periods ever.”
