Two men have been arrested on suspicion of robbery following a raid on HSBC bank in Sheerness.

The men, aged 54 and 31, are from Sheppey and have been bailed until Monday, September 21, pending further inquiries.

Police were called to the bank in Broadway, Sheerness, at 11.25am on Friday after a security guard was punched in the face and a small amount of money taken.
