The Ryman League Premier Division relegation picture became even tighter on Saturday with just one point now separating the bottom five.

Folkestone Invicta bounced back from dropping to the bottom in midweek by overcoming in-form Harrow Borough 1-0 at the Buzzlines Stadium.

Frankie Chappell (pictured) scored the only goal for Invicta to secure their first win since November and end a run of five straight defeats.

Invicta overtook Maidstone United on goal difference after the Stones went down 3-0 at Canvey Island.

Goals two minutes from kick-off and two minutes from full-time from Rob King secured the points for the Essex side, with Danny Heale netting the other just after half-time.

Margate overcame struggling Hastings 2-0 at Hartsdown Park to leave Hastings ahead of Folkestone and Maidstone on goal difference.

New signing Tom Bradbrook made his debut but strike partner James Pinnock was the hero with a goal in either half as Gate won their third in five games.

Tonbridge Angels are six points off the top with two games in hand after romping to a 5-1 win at Tooting & Mitcham.

Frannie Collin, Ade Olorunda and Jay May put Angels 3-0 up inside eight minutes and Danny Walder made it four in first half stoppage time and despite the hosts pulling one back after the break, Lewis Taylor added a fifth late-on.

Cray Wanderers are third, ahead of Angels on goal difference, but having played a game more, after a superb 2-0 win at title-chasing Kingstonian 2-0.

Chris Saunders put the Wands ahead on seven minutes after Laurent Hamici's shot was only parried and John Guest fired in from a corner just after the hour.
