Margate recorded their first away-win of the campaign with a 2-1 win at Horsham in Ryman League, Premier Division on Saturday.

Tom Bradbrook (pictured) opened the scoring with a tap-in on 11 minutes but despite Gate creating a host of chances the hosts levelled on 69 minutes when slack defending allowed in Tony Nwachukwu .

The visitors took just two minutes to respond, however, as Bradbrook's 30-yard free-kick flew into the top corner to secure the points and take Gate into the top-half.

Cray Wanderers cruised to a 3-0 win over East Thurrock United to go fourth in the table.

Thamesmead Town cruised into the next round with a 3-0 win over Burgess Hill Town, with Rikki Cable, Jake Burnham and David Noel on target.

Erith Town's 2-0 win over South Park booked them a trip to Herne Bay, who overcame Deal Town 3-0, in the next round, where they will be joined by VCD Athletic who won 1-0 at Lordswood, though Sevenoaks and Tunbridge Wells crashed out 3-1 to Redhill and Walton & Hersham respectively.

Clubs receive £1,500 in prize money for progressing to the First Qualifying Round, with ties taking place on Saturday, September 17.
