Search is still on for lost kestrel owner

A BIRD of prey which was found in Medway has still not been reunited with its owner dispite public appeals.

The beautiful female kestrel, pictured here, was discovered by an eagle-eyed Gillingham resident two months ago.

It is currently in the care of Rochester bird foster parent Colin Andrews.

He said: "Despite an appeal in the Medway Messenger and a poster campaign and word of mouth, the bird’s owner still hasn’t come forward.

"It must be owned by a falconer, as it is very tame and had all its falconer equipment with it.

"I really would like to see it returned to the person who owns it."

If you own the bird or know who has lost it, call Mr Andrews on 01634 405361.
