A sexual predator has been jailed for four years after a series of attacks on young girls over a seven-year period.

A jury at Canterbury Crown Court found John Snell, 59, guilty of nine counts of sexual activity with a child.

Judge Adele Williams told him he had been convicted on the clearest and most compelling evidence.

Snell, of Links Road, Deal, systematically abused vulnerable teenagers.

The judge told him he had been a sexual predator who had shown not a flicker of remorse during his trial.

He was also ordered to sign the sexual offender’s register for life.
