Several cars in Chatham pile-up

A car has collided with several others in Luton Road, Chatham.

The emergency services were called out to the scene after a car damaged other vehicles parked up on the road, and ended up coming to a stop in someone’s front garden.

It is not thought anyone was seriously injured in the crash, but emergency services were called to the scene at about 9.45am today.

At first it was thought someone was trapped in a vehicle, but when firefighters arrived on the scene they found the person was already out of the car.

The crash happened on a stretch of road close to the Co-op. It is thought the car mounted the pavement before coming to a stop in a front garden.

The road was cleared and re-opened mid-morning.
