Sky internet service now restored for Kent customers

The internet has been restored for Sky customers in Kent, the national company has confirmed.

Many of those whose broadband is supplied by Sky have been without web access today, with some claiming to have first lost connection on Thursday.

The Sky Help Team announced customers in the county may not be able to get online or make and receive calls in a tweet this morning.

Openreach, who is involved in Sky's broadband system, was made aware of a fault this morning and an engineer has been on site today to fix the issue.

The faulty equipment has now been replaced and service should be back to normal.
