Store creates jobs at retail park

ARGOS opens a new store tomorrow in the newly developed Strood Retail Park. The store has created more than 40 jobs and is part of Argos' continued investment in the area.

Store manager Andrew Arnold said: "Saturday is an extremely exciting day for us. The brand new store looks great, with an open stock room so customers can see exactly what's going on behind the scenes."

Trading at the store, near Matalan and B&Q, starts at 9.30am and the opening has been organised to coincide with the launch of Argos' spring/summer catalogue.

There is free parking for up to two hours and the store will open 9am-8pm from Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm on Saturdays and 10am-4pm on Sundays.
