T Rextasy is billed as the ultimate dedication to glam rock’s Marc Bolan.

Fans of the metal guru are in for a treat when T Rextasy get it on at Margate Winter Gardens on Sunday.

Voted top in a BBC tribute act show, the band is celebrating 12 years of touring.

They perform all Bolan’s hits including I Love to Boogie, Children of the Revolution, Metal Guru, Jeepster, Telegram Sam, and Get It On.

T Rex guitarist Jack Green said: “It’s just like seeing Marc again,” while drummer Bill Legend added: “They’re the closest you are ever gonna get to the real thing.”
